Ubiquinone (also known as coenzyme Q10 or CoQ10) is a substance found in the mitochondria of cells, i.e. the powerhouses of cells. Ubiquinone participates in the body’s utilisation of energy from food and also has antioxidant properties. It is good to know that the body’s own ubiquinone production decreases with age.
In addition to ubiquinone, the preparation contains biotin and vitamin C, both of which promote the body’s normal energy metabolism. Vitamin C also helps combat tiredness and fatigue and supports the body’s immune system.
